This is outdated! but it's basically how you set up alerts.
Steam Pressure Documentation
I wrote this little web app that will notify you if a certain amount of AC people are playing a certain Steam game. Right now it is only set up to monitor for Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead.
To get the alerts, go to http://steampressure.net and create an account by entering a username and password and checking the “This is a new account box. After your account is created you can log in with those credentials to make changes to your alerts.
The system is designed to allow you to set up multiple alerts. After logging in you are taken to the main alert setup screen. This displays all the alerts you have set up for your account. When your account is first created, no alerts are set up and the current alerts table will display “There are no alerts set for this account.

To create an alert just simply input the email address you want the alert to go to. And fill in the rest of the fields.

Here is a quick description of each fields use.
- Email Address: This specifies where the alert is being sent to. To have an alert sent to your phone you must enter you phone’s email address. The following list consist of email addresses for the most popular wireless carriers.
- Verizon: @vtext.com
- Cingular:Â @cingularme.com
- T-Mobile: @tmomail.net
- Virgin Mobile: @vmobl.com
- Sprint: @messaging.sprintpcs.com
- AT&T: @txt.att.net
- Nextel: @messaging.nextel.com
- Game: This specifies what game you would like to receive the alert about.
- Notify Amount: This sets the trigger for how many people are playing the game selected to kick of the notification.
- Same Game: Check this box to only be notified if the Notify Amount is reached within a single game server. In other words if you want to be notified when people are playing the same game in the same server.
- Admins Only: Check this box to only be notified when the Notify Amount is reached by the group administrators. To find out who are administrators for the AC group, go to http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ahrimancorps and look under administrators.
- Notify Reminder: This sets up how long the time (in minutes) between alerts. For example: If the Notify Reminder is set up for 60 minutes all notifications will be sent 60 minutes apart while the conditions are met. This is to keep from spamming your email account or phone.
Once you have set up your alerts you can edit them, delete them or add more. To edit an alert click the gear next to the alert you wish to edit. To delete an alert click the red X. And to add click any one of the green plus signs.
